Overview

The business environment today is highly unpredictable, pushing companies to keep innovating to stay relevant. In African family businesses, the younger generation often educated abroad or in top local schools returns with fresh ideas, eager to modernize operations and improve efficiency.

The 5th Africa Family Business Summit will explore how both generations can align where tradition fuels innovation and innovation strengthens tradition to ensure continuity and growth.

To host speakers who have depth in family business topics especially family dynamics and innovation.

To breakdown the broader theme into relevant topics and name each session with a particular topic for discussion. The topics for discussion include; conflict management, transitions in family enterprises, innovation in a family business, how to maintain family tradition, mental health, technology and digital transformation, and how do different generations work together.

To have adequate breaktimes during the summit to enhance networking.

To present models or tools that participant families can apply in their family businesses for results.

To present cases of successful families who have been able to transition across generations.
